Memory
Filing knowledge that does not expire
A memory is a piece of text with context: a note from a conversation, a decision, an excerpt from a contract. knowmind makes it findable by what it says and keeps track of how it changes over time.
The whole matter comes back
You connect memories that belong together: by hand, through your AI tool, or with a reference in the text. If the text carries the title of an existing card in double square brackets, knowmind creates the connection when you save. If you ask your AI weeks later where a matter stands, the whole thread comes back through these connections: the note from the conversation, the contract and the messages in between.
Every result points to its memory
A memory keeps its wording. With every result, knowmind returns the memory it came from, so you can open it and read it. Whether your AI tool shows that reference is up to the tool.
Create a memory

Search
Finding it again without the original words
Every question takes several routes: the words of your question, its meaning, and the names and connections in the knowledge network. The result is one list, which a second model sorts by fit.
Different wording is found too
A search by words alone misses everything that was phrased differently. A search by meaning alone loses names and contract numbers. knowmind takes both routes: ask about “the delivery date issue” and notes about “the deadline in the contract” come back as well, and a German question also finds English passages. Memories found by several routes rank higher in the list.
What the measurement shows
In the published measurement of 23 May 2026 with 20 held-out questions, the entry sought was among the first five results in 80 per cent of cases. Search by meaning alone reached 65 per cent, search by words 55 per cent.

Evidence
Showing what the system knew, and when
Every entry carries two dates: since when a matter holds, and since when knowmind knows about it. Ask with a cut-off date and you get the state of knowledge as it stood then.
The old version stays retrievable
When you update a fact, the old version receives an end date and the new one a valid-from date; the two stay linked. An example: a payment term that was thirty days in March and has been fourteen since June can be retrieved correctly for both dates. Keeping the date from which something holds apart from the date on which the system learned of it is called bitemporal storage.
The log cannot be changed
The access log of your workspace records which question your AI tool put to knowmind and when, along with every new access, every stored key and every change of plan. The database rejects any change to it, every new entry is mathematically tied to the one before it, and every hour knowmind submits the current state to an independent timestamping service.
If you have to keep logs
The EU AI Act requires high-risk systems to enable the automatic recording of events (Article 12); the deployer keeps those logs for at least six months (Article 26(6)). knowmind records every access and keeps it for 30 days to five years, depending on your plan.

One body of knowledge for several people
From the Team plan on, several people share one workspace. What one person files, the next finds again in their own AI tool. A change of staff therefore costs no project knowledge.
Everyone stays in their own tool
All members work on the same body of knowledge, but each in their own tool: one colleague in Claude, another in Cursor, a third through the interface in the browser. What is saved in Claude in the morning, someone else finds through ChatGPT in the afternoon.
Access can be shown afterwards
Invitations, role changes and removals are recorded in the access log of the workspace. The question of who had access, and when, therefore has a dated answer.
Shared workspace

Sign-in, domains and evidence
Your people sign in with their company account, knowledge belongs to departments rather than to the whole company, and every access is recorded in a log in which later changes show up.
Sign-in through your directory
from BusinessYour people sign in with their company account, over OpenID Connect per workspace. You set it up yourself in the Cockpit. Roles can be taken from the groups in your directory. If you wish, you block the sign-in link by email for your mail domains.
